Grand Canyon Community Church is an interdenominational church that welcomes members of all Christian faith traditions to join us for worship. The Resident Minister serves in the role of a chaplain, meeting the spiritual needs of each member and visitor according to their faith tradition. Presently, the congregation reflects the wonderful diversity of Christianity, including members that would identify themselves from Pentecostal, Baptist, Lutheran, Reformed, Anglican, Evangelical, and Greek Orthodox traditions.
Members of Grand Canyon Community Church affirm the Apostle’s Creed as the basis for unity and fellowship, which states:
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. The third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy universal church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
