Worship Service and Children’s Church
The 11 a.m. Sunday Worship Service (main auditorium) and Children’s Church (multi-purpose room) at the Shrine of the Ages Building are our main services. The worship service and children’s church typically lasts 60-75 minutes. Come worship with local residents of the Grand Canyon community who desire to follow Jesus Christ and honor his presence in their lives.
As an interdenominational assembly, Grand Canyon Community Church seeks to incorporate a variety of worship styles that reflect the diversity of worship across the Christian faith traditions. Members and visitors to our worship services are welcome to express their love and admiration to God as they are comfortable, including silent reverence to joyous singing to hands raised!
The diversity of worship is reflected in common practices used in our services:
- Mixture of traditional hymns, gospel, and contemporary worship music
- Praying the “Lord’s Prayer” together
- Sermons grounded in Scripture and Jesus Christ, and made applicable for Christian living
- Children’s Church for kids age 3 through 6th grade that includes biblical lessons, songs, and activities
Shrine of the Ages Location
The Shrine of the Ages building is located west of Market Plaza and is a stop along the free Blue Route – Village Line Shuttle Bus. It’s location is provided in the Pocket Map given park visitors upon entering the park entrances.
